Warranty Policy

Every certified refurbished laptop from Doctor Laptop Hyderabad is 45-point tested and covered by a limited hardware warranty. The exact duration is printed on your invoice and warranty card.

1. Warranty Duration

• Standard refurbished laptops: 6 months.
• Premium refurbished laptops (i5 8th gen and above, MacBooks): up to 12 months.
• Batteries & adapters: 30 days.
• Free-gifted accessories (bag, mouse, cable): no warranty.

2. What is Covered

• Motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, keyboard, trackpad, display panel, ports, WiFi and speaker manufacturing defects that arise during normal use.
• Free labour for any covered repair.
• Free replacement of the faulty component with an equivalent-or-better part.

3. What is NOT Covered

• Physical damage — drops, cracks, dents, bent hinges, broken screens.
• Liquid damage — coffee, water, rain, cleaning fluid.
• Battery capacity degradation after 30 days (batteries are consumables).
• Damage caused by voltage surges, faulty chargers or unauthorised chargers.
• Damage caused by unauthorised repair, disassembly, upgrades or software modification.
• Software issues, OS reinstall, virus / malware, driver installation, data recovery.
• Cosmetic wear and tear consistent with a used device.
• Consumables, cables, adapters, bag, mouse or bundled freebies.
• Missing, altered or tampered serial number / warranty sticker.

4. How to Claim Warranty

2. Bring the laptop to our Ameerpet service centre or courier it to us at your cost.
3. Our engineers diagnose the fault within 24–72 working hours and share a status update.
4. Covered repairs are completed and returned within 3–7 working days depending on spare-part availability.

5. Data Backup

Please back up your data before submitting the laptop for warranty service. We are not responsible for data loss during repair.

6. Out-of-Warranty Repairs

We continue to service every laptop we sell even after warranty expiry, on a paid basis. You will always receive a written estimate before any chargeable work begins.

7. Warranty Is Non-Transferable

The warranty is valid only for the original buyer named on the invoice and is not transferable if the laptop is resold to a third party.
