Refund & Return Policy

Your satisfaction matters. This policy explains when and how you can return a refurbished laptop purchased from Doctor Laptop Hyderabad and how refunds are processed.
1. 7-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery or in-store purchase if:
- The laptop has a hardware defect that was not disclosed at the time of sale;
- The model, configuration or specification delivered does not match the invoice;
- The device fails to power on out of the box.
2. Non-Returnable Situations
We cannot accept a return where:
- The laptop shows physical damage, liquid damage, screen cracks or dents caused after delivery;
- Warranty seals or serial-number stickers are missing, torn or tampered with;
- The laptop has been opened, repaired or modified by an unauthorised technician;
- Software issues, OS reinstall requests or preference-based dissatisfaction (colour, size, weight, brand feel);
- Consumables such as batteries after 30 days, or accessories (bag, mouse, charger cable) after opening.
3. How to Raise a Return Request

- Share your invoice number, a short description of the issue and clear photos or a video.
- Our team will verify the issue and issue a Return Authorisation (RA) within 48 working hours.
- Ship the unit back — or we can arrange a reverse pickup within Hyderabad free of cost — in its original packaging with all accessories, charger, invoice and warranty card.
4. Inspection & Outcome
After receipt, our engineers inspect the returned unit within 3–5 working days. Based on inspection we will either (a) repair the defect free of charge, (b) replace with a same-or-better unit, or (c) issue a refund at our discretion where repair/replacement is not feasible.
5. Refund Timeline
- UPI / IMPS: within 3–5 working days of approval.
- Credit / Debit card: within 5–7 working days (bank processing time varies).
- Cash purchases: bank transfer or cash refund at the store, within 3 working days of approval.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method or bank account only. Shipping / pickup charges for approved returns are borne by us.
6. Exchanges
You may exchange your refurbished laptop for a higher-value model within 7 days by paying the difference in price. Downgrades or partial-value exchanges are not supported.
7. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled free of cost before dispatch. Once the unit has been dispatched, the return process above applies.
8. Buyback Transactions Are Final
Once you have sold your used laptop to us and payment has been received, the transaction is final and non-reversible.
